For those of you who don't know the story....
When I was pregnant with Brady I asked both sets of grandparents what they wanted to be called since we were having the first grandbaby on both sides. My father was the quickest to with an IMMEDIATE answer "caddy." I looked at him confused, he stated he was going to raise his grandkids to play golf, get a scholarship to be on Duke's Golf team and then play in the WPGA, and once they were in the tour he would be their caddy.
Well about two years after Brady was born, Caddy asked Brady what Caddy started with, she immediately stated 'K' and ever since then he has been Kaddie.
Kaddie and Reese have a special bond. They have since Reese was about 9 months old. She was sick and crying no matter what I did. Then I was going to put her to bed and my dad went to kiss her good night and she reached out for him to hold her. He states that none of his three kids ever reached out for him (when they were in their mother's arms) so he was smitten ever since and Reese has not lost the mutual feeling!
Kaddie sent Reese left handed golf clubs today and they were a hit. Reese's response was "I am going to play golf, that's so cool!"
Enjoy these pictures from the trial run...
Now to move closer to Kaddie so he can help Reese read the lie of the grass ;)

New and Improved
Santa brought Reese this lovely stool for her second Christmas (yes, she is one year 10 days old). It was great but we think Santa forgot to test its stability on clumsy 3 and 4 year olds.
After numerous falls from its perch, I decided for the girls safety to remove the legs and have a floor puzzle for Reese in her room a couple of months ago. Reese was the least bit amused. So I asked our handy dandy friend, Jeff, if he could make it into a two step stool which is difficult to flip. Jeff did an awesome job!!! So thankful for his kindness. He even brought me the stool primed and ready for me to get creative.
Reese was SO SO SO excited about her new stool, and both girls wanted to help paint it. Why not? Right. So I started out with a blue background (Reese's choice, don't get upset NCSU fans). Than one morning while still in PJs I let the girls each have a side to paint at their pleasing.
Here is their description of their masterpieces.

Pretty in Pink
I know I have blogged more about Brady lately but I couldn’t pass this up…
Brady pick every single element of her outfit out today. I am sure you will see a common theme very quickly.
Now for the complete package, and yes, she posed like that all by herself.
I know I know, no pink nail polish, she is seriously slacking ![]()
On a completely unrelated note: She went to her 4 year old well check today. 50th %ile in height and weight and got her shots tear free. I love that my girls have my pain tolerance, makes life much easier!
